Simmersion Holdings has made the top 100 Austrlalian Web 2.0 applications list with its 3D virtual worlds platform, Mycosm. The list was published in print in Busines Review Weekly magazine and online at Ross Dawson's blog.

Eligiblity for the list was based on the following scope and criteria:

Applications needed to be:

• Applications (not content only)
• Rich web-based interface (not mobile only)
• Create value from participation
• Represent genuine innovation
• Significantly Australian

Applications were asessed for the following:

• Revenue and viability
• Users
• International success
• Business value
• Innovation
• Web 2.0 features
